Join the Review Team

Thank you for your interest in joining DeeDee Zee’s review team. Here’s what you need to do to join:

1 – Review five (5) DeeDee Zee titles on Smashwords

  • Reviews posted on other sites do NOT qualify.
  • Reviews should be HONEST (whether that be positive or negative).
  • Remember that reviews are a product review aimed at other readers, NOT the author.
  • Reviews of titles not by DeeDee Zee do NOT qualify.
    • Dame Doggy titles also do NOT qualify.

2 – Email DeeDee

  • Subject Line REVIEW TEAM
  • Include in email:
    • Your name
    • Your Smashwords handle
    • Titles of the five (5) stories you reviewed on Smashwords
    • A statement saying you’ve read, understood, and agree to the review team rules listed below.

Review Team Rules

  • You do NOT have to review every title offered.
    • DeeDee sends out a notification email for every new release. If a genre or trope isn’t one you like, then just skip it.
  • If you use a review download code, you must review the title.
    • Using the review download code is a declaration that you will review the title.
    • Too many instances of using a code without leaving a review will result in removal from the team.
  • Do NOT share review download codes.
  • Reviews should always be HONEST, whether positive or negative.
  • Reviews should include a statement about receiving a review copy
    • “I received a review copy”
    • (review copy)
  • Reviews should be at least two sentences long.
  • NO SPOILERS.
  • Remember reviews are a product review aimed at other readers.
